Our Story
Art-Tek’s painting experience began in 2005 in Quebec City, where the business first developed its foundation working on a wide range of residential and architectural painting projects. From modern homes to century-old houses requiring careful restoration, those early years helped build a deep understanding of surface preparation, coating systems, heritage properties, and long-term protection.
The company was built from the background of three young entrepreneurs with a strong interest in construction, design, architecture, and professional finishing. The owner, trained as an Architectural Technician, brought an architecture-oriented approach to the painting industry, combining technical knowledge with practical field experience in business, building maintenance, and architectural coating systems.
Over the years, Art-Tek has worked closely with regional paint representatives, architectural offices, interior designers, homeowners, and commercial clients. This experience created a broader vision of what a professional painting company should provide. Painting is not only about changing a colour. It is about understanding the building, identifying problems before they become costly, recommending the right products, and helping clients protect their investment for the long term.
